Is there a perfect language to learn?" One common question. The truth? There isn't a perfect language, only the language that's perfect for your goals. Before you choose, ask yourself why you wanna learn. Is it for studying abroad, career growth, travel, or connecting with other cultures?
Your answer points the way. English, for example, is widely used in business, science, and global communication.
Other languages shine in different areas, but none are universally 'better'.
##Many people want to learn more than one language, and they don't know how to start.
A few days ago, I came across an Instagram video from a young woman who speaks eight languages!!
In the comments, one question stood out. 'How did you learn eight languages when some of us struggle with just English?' Instead of a long explanation, she offered a simple comparison that made me think. She said, 'Imagine two people who both want to learn volleyball. One has played football for years, and the other never played any sport. Who do you think will learn volleyball more easily?' Most would guess the football player, not because the sports are the same, but because they've already built coordination and discipline.
Language learning can work the same way. If someone already knows English, picking up another language often gets easier, not because English is perfect, but because of the resources and skills they can access.
It's why many multilingual learners suggest starting with English.
At LNL school, we believe there's no perfect language, only the one that fits your goals. And for many, English can be that starting point, a bridge to even more opportunities.
